To me a beach session never gets old. Don’t quickly rule out this classic when considering what kind of engagement photo shoot to do. A photographer can’t ask for much more than the many epic beaches in Kauai. Seriously, it hosts some of my favorites in the world. Even when a few were closed due to last years flooding, I couldn’t be upset with the many great back up options to chose from.

For their session, these two chose to take an intimate sunrise walk followed by a day at the ocean. We started early to enjoy the particularly peaceful time of day where everything is cool and quiet. It’s the perfect way to take in the sand and the sea. The sun rose and the we quickly gained energy for a more playful sort of session. Braylon and Rachel’s fun-loving personalities shown through every minute.
